Tour description

We start with a panoramic view of the city, before immersing ourselves in the Imperial history of Prague. Get to know Prague from where it all started. The Castle of the genesis of the city, filled with anecdotes, rumours, gossip, myths and legends - but also the end of the story. The Castle the seat of presidential power.

From here, we descend into the murky, grim, fascinating, creepy, but, above all, beautiful Lesser Town. This is the seductive face of the city - the piece where you can get behind the facades of the tourist traps, the souvenir shops and the dreaded trdelník. It is a special feeling in the Lesser Town.

And finally the Bridge. Charles Bridge is justly celebrated as a jewel preserved from the Middle Ages. But there is more to this monumental architectural achievement than immediately meets the eye. Discover it with us.

Nathan is British, but fell in love with Prague many years ago, when Lucas and he studied Czech together at Charles University. Interested in language and literature, Nathan's tours have a heavier focus on Medieval politics, and the grim and the real from the various historical periods. Prepare for defenestrations and executions.

I love this job, because I get to meet people and hear different stories - and I get to speak about something I'm passionate about: Prague. And I get to work outside. Ideal.

Lucas is a Colombian-born architect educated in Paris who has lived in Prague for more than a decade. An avid traveler, he can give a clear-sighted view on how the city has changed, on top of the history, the myths, the legends. Witty and loquacious (he speaks French, English, Spanish and Czech), you get more than you expect with Lucas.

Pragolem was born from the idea of the Golem constantly wandering through the city, watching over it and acting as its guardian. After all, he was Prague’s original 16th-century superhero. I see my work in much the same way: as a storyteller walking the streets of Prague, bringing its history, characters and stories to life, while sharing my love and knowledge of this beautiful city. If that’s what I get to do for a living, I can hardly imagine a better job.

I had the pleasure being guided by Nathan on a walking tour of Prague on Saturday, June 21, 2025. I've been on many historical walking tours in cities throughout Europe and the United States. I can say without hesitation this was one of the best. Nathan's knowledge of the history and architecture of Prague was first rate as well as his affable nature. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!

Our guide Nathan was not only extremely knowledgeable about the history of Prague, but also about the various urban legends and architectural features the city has to offer. His passion for Prague is obvious as he mentioned it is his favorite place in the world... If you are looking to scratch beneath the surface please do yourself a favor and book this tour!

If you are coming to Prague and thinking of doing a walking tour, Pragolem is highly recommended. I had a walking tour with Nathan on 22/08/2025... I have attended more than ten walking tours across the EU and this was by far the best as well as the most informative one.
